Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 August 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to your use of parheliabio.com, operated by Parhelia Biosciences, Inc. They do not govern the purchase or use of our instruments, kits or software, which are covered by the agreements accompanying them. Our online store and Stainworks application are separate services with their own terms.
2. What this site is for
This site provides information about our products, technical literature, protocols and company news, and a way to contact us. You may read, download and share the material here for your own research and evaluation purposes.
3. Technical content is informational
The protocols, application notes, white papers, posters and specifications published here describe results obtained under particular conditions in our own or collaborators' laboratories. They are provided for information. They are not a warranty of performance, and they are not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use. Results in your laboratory will depend on your samples, reagents and instrument configuration, and you remain responsible for validating any protocol for your own use.
Specifications may change as products develop. Where a figure matters to a purchasing decision, confirm it with us in writing.
4. Intellectual property
The content of this site — text, images, diagrams, product renders, logos and the “Parhelia”, “Spatial Station”, “Omni-Stainer” and “Skylab” marks — belongs to Parhelia Biosciences or its licensors. You may cite and quote our published literature with attribution. You may not reuse our branding, or republish substantial parts of the site, without written permission.
Third-party marks referenced here — including PhenoCycler, CODEX, GeoMx, Visium, RNAScope, SignalStar and Opal — belong to their respective owners and are named only to describe compatibility.
5. Contacting us
When you send us an enquiry, please send only what is needed to answer it. Do not send confidential or personal data about third parties, patient-identifiable information, or anything you are under an obligation to keep confidential. An enquiry does not by itself create a confidentiality obligation on our part.
Information you submit is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Links to other sites
We link to publications, event organisers, partners and our own store and Stainworks application. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not operate.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee either. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
8. Liability
TO CONFIRM: the limitation of liability. This clause carries real legal weight and its enforceable scope varies by jurisdiction, so it should be drafted by counsel rather than adapted from a template. It needs to sit consistently alongside the warranty terms in your instrument sale agreements.
9. Governing law
TO CONFIRM: governing law and venue. Parhelia is incorporated in the United States and based in Austin, Texas, which suggests Texas law — but that should be confirmed against your incorporation state and existing customer agreements, not assumed from the office address.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above will change when we do, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
